Essential Tips for the Desert Gardener

Gardening in a desert climate isn’t easy, but this time of year is particularly tricky thanks to skyrocketing temperatures and seasonal dryness. Our friends at Gardenista consulted with Southwestern garden shop owner Michelle Teague and landscape designer Mark Woods for their top tips for surviving in the desert (that applies to both plants, and humans–us gardeners need protection too!).
