We’re ecstatic to announce the dreamy location of our 2017 idea house is… Palm Springs!

Home to many of the midcentury modern architectural masterpieces of the West, Palm Springs has long been a mecca for superior home design. This year our project—a new build in the Chino Canyon area—will be helmed by an impressive team, including o2 Architecture, Better Built Inc., and interior design team 30 Collins. The modernist home will be built into the existing landscape and will feature the latest in smart home technologies both inside and out. We’ll be opening for tours in fall (Fridays through Sundays from October 6 until November 26)–with a location near downtown Palm Springs, it’s the perfect excuse to plan a fall getaway.

Follow along on our social media channels using #sunsetideahouse, as we choose everything from the finishes to the furniture over the coming months. We’ll also unveil the full home and some of the most inspiring ideas from the project in our November 2017 issue.

I flip houses in PS and am so excited to see what you do! I have a house in Chino Canyon which is now little Tuscany and an attached home in Deep Well Estates. I love love it out there! Mid century drives me crazy with happiness.
