From the Cutting Room Floor: Gorgeous All-Container Garden

April 7, 2014 | By | Comments (0)

Every month, only a fraction of the photographs we take make it into the magazine. Here, we share the shots and ideas we didn’t have room for in our April issue

We fell in love with Annette Gutierrez’s bright, fun garden that is made almost entirely of containers. She created a series of outdoor rooms to transform the 3,000-square-foot yard.

She used unexpected hanging planters to liven up the space and create visual interest.

Stunning succulents are tucked in throughout the garden as centerpieces in pots or paired with other plants.

The City Planter, an original design from her LA shop, Potted, adds life to blank walls and fences.

Nestled between pots, her outdoor shower helps to make the space a true retreat.
