I’m giving up: Sugar.
I chose this because: I’m completely addicted. I’m not a big drinker. I don’t OD on meat. I have one cuppa joe most days. But sugar? Morning, noon, and night.
My biggest challenge: I am unprepared mentally, physically, spiritually, and grocery-ly.
My biggest temptation to cheat: This morning I grabbed a coffee and hadn’t eaten breakfast, so I had a butter croissant. I cheated. I already cheated. And I didn’t even consider it cheating! I just decided that Monday starts at 9am.
Coping mechanisms: I’ll get back to you on that.
Today I feel: Like a phony! There was already the croissant issue, and then I was chitchatting with with test kitchen ladies, scooping jelly beans into my mouth. I got through several handfuls before I realized that I’m supposed to not be eating sugar.
