Stylish reuse is all the rage in the West, and architect Jeremy Levine is tearing it up in LA.

In this case, literally.

“It was this big water tank rusting on a job site, and rather than hauling it away, I cut it up and made shaded planters,” he says.

Ingenious and functional, too:

  • The Southern California sun burns up baby veggies, so this is an alternative to shade cloth.
  • A smooth steel bottom means you can easily pivot the planters to change the orientation to the sun.
  • It’s elevated, meaning you don’t even have to bend down to garden.

Like a more traditional look? You can always check out ye old classic raised bed.

I was looking for this the other day. i dont usually post in forums but i wanted to say thank you
