It’s kind of heating up around here as we get ready to kick-off our annual open house, Celebration Weekend that celebrates life out West (next year I’m gunning for the theme to be Westphoria).

Above is a sneak peek of the 150-square-foot Bellomo Arc House, which the New York Times covered yesterday. Of course, this being the West, the architect, Joseph Bellomo of Bellomo Architects, was inspired by a bike rack.

Our cutting edge tiny house last year.

Also happening this weekend, the ultimate Westphoria hero and urban farmer Novella Carpenter will be on stage on Saturday (June 2). Star Seattle chef Tom Douglas is doing a demo with the West’s official fish: the salmon.  And then nose-to-tail chef and salumeria Bay Area wizard Chris Cosentino will be preparing spring lamb.
