Harvest in the test garden
My tomato vines are all but dead, but I somehow managed to salvage a few gorgeous fruit from them, along with a mess of other produce for our One Block lunch next Monday. A lot more will be harvested on the day of, so this is just a teaser:

You’re right, Johanna, your tomotoe plants are having some problems. But the few fruits you did get look great, at least. And they will be that much sweeter!
Thanks for your comments. But Jason — you’ve really got to click on that link about the tomatoes being near dead. The ones I harvested look great, but the vines are done. And it’s hardly the bumper crop I was hoping for! This has been a tough year for tomato growers, it seems.

Wow, nice harvest. Potatoes are fun. Great tomatoes. Our season got off to a late start and the tomatoes are almost a month behind. But yours look great!
