Our backyard farm fills in
It’s been for-eh-ver. Sorry to have left you hanging for so long. The picture I want to show you makes me realize just how long it’s been.
Remember this?
Well, look at it now:
It’s filled with basil, melons, peppers, tomatoes, corn, an artichoke, pots with herbs, volunteer poppies, volunteer mullein, and volunteer flowering tobacco. Everything is doing smashingly — just waiting for the tomatoes to ripen already!!!
How are your gardens growing, dear readers? Are you swimming in tomatoes yet?

Wow, it looks amazing.
Hey finally found the blog! I spoke to this nice gentleman when I went down to the Sunset celebration event this year and he was telling me about the chickens you guys have. He had mentioned that the chicken’s eggs would be sent for analysis so you could tell how much cholesterol were in them. Any news?
I was motivated by my trip down to Sunset HQ and now have finally finished building my coop and am ready for pullets. I was wondering what to feed them with to produce low cholesterol eggs?
Cheers,
shay
Hey Matti! Yep – that’s an artichoke.
Glad you are back. It sure does show how time flies with those before and after photos. I barely remember the keyhole design, lol. Is that an artichoke way in the back center?
